As part of its Geeked Week announcements, Netflix revealed more details about new games coming to its platform. Several of the games are based on the company’s shows, including Rebel Moon and Squid Game, while others such as Monument Valley 3 are well-regarded IPs in their own right. Several of the games are coming in 2025, while others are set to launch before the end of the year.
The biggest game announced based on Netflix’s shows is Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game, based on Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon. Blood Line is an online co-op shooter developed by Super Evil Megacorp, in which players take on the role of rebels attempting to liberate their home world. Snyder himself introduced the game during Geeked week, and the game is due out in 2025 exclusively on Netflix.
Squid Game also got a game adaptation spotlight, as Dallas Liu and Ian Ousley (from Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender, in a bit of a crossover) showed off gameplay from Squid Game Unleashed, which was revealed at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live. That game, also a Netflix exclusive, launches later this year.
Monument Valley 3, previously revealed to be coming to Netflix on December 10, also appeared in the showcase. Other games revealed to be coming to Netflix at Geeked Week include Civilization VI and Street Fighter IV CE — both are listed as “coming soon.” Monument Valley and Spongebob: Bubble Pop F.U.N. have both just launched on Netflix’s games platform, with Battleship launching on the platform on September 24.
